  • Anna Kirkland, President

Anna Kirkland is the Founder and President of the Indian River County Cattlewomen Chapter. An organization dedicated to educating the public about Florida beef. As a third-generation Floridan and beef cattle owner, I have a deep appreciation for Florida’s agricultural heritage and the role that beef production plays in it.

Through Indian River County Cattlewomen, we work to promote locally raised beef and the economic, nutritional, and environmental benefits.

  • Frances Garver, Treasurer

Frances is a Florida native, born and raised in Vero Beach. She is an Office Manager, Realtor and a FL Notary for Laurel Agency, Inc. Real Estate in Vero Beach. Although she does not own acreage or cattle she did grow up on a small farm as a child and has always had a love for animals of all kinds and wanted to one day become a zookeeper. She went to Santa Fe Community College and obtained an A.S. degree in Zoo Animal Technology and worked at Lowry Park Zoo for a little over a year before she switched career paths and went back to school for a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. She joined Cattlewomen to not only help the organization grow but also to learn more about ranching and the beef industry.
